Locking Horns with Samurai Vader

Taken on Saturday at Emerald City Comicon 2013.

Steampunk Lady Loki as you see here, is a work in progress; researched during the course of January, built entirely by myself in February with the majority of the work done in the last two weeks before con. All patterns used are all drafted from scratch. And despite appearances, the fur stole is fake fur.

This particular pic doesn't show it very well, but I've combined elements from Avengers Loki into this outfit.

FAQs from the con:

-What are the horns made from: cast resin

-Are they heavy/how much do they weigh: they're about 2lbs, though I haven't weighed them. They don't feel that heavy at first, but after wearing them for nearly 9 straight hours with a break from them during lunch, they did feel a bit weighty. *lol*

-How are they held on: there's a strap around the back like other Loki diadems around.
